Cops nab bigtime drug suspect
Police arrested a suspected bigtime drug pusher during a saturation drive last Friday in sitio Villagonzalo II, barangay Tejero,
Police identified the suspect as Enrico Dequitos, 45, a resident of the said place, and a known supplier of shabu in the area.
Inspector Wilbert Parilla of the Vice Control Section said a group of policemen led by PO3 Jeffrey Larrobis were conducting a patrol in the area when they spotted Dequitos “suspiciously walking” in the area with a “suspicious” plastic pack.
The police searched him and found a big plastic pack of suspected shabu and then placed him under arrest.
According to Parilla, Dequitos is considered a Level 2 drug pusher who can dispose of 200 grams up to a kilo of shabu every week.
Earlier this week, city police director Sr. Supt. Patrocinio Comendador ordered an intensified police operations against all forms of criminal activities in the city.— Edwin Ian Melecio/BRP
