A man who beat up a motorcycle-for-hire driver was shot twice in the head by the passenger of the man he beat up last Sunday evening in sitio Pit-os Proper, barangay Pit-os.
Police identified the victim as Alex Morales, 22, a resident of barangay Panuypoy, Consolacion town, who was allegedly with a companion identified as Butch Balaba when they beat up Richard Castillo, 22, a resident of the said place. Castillo told the police that while he was being taken to safety he heard gunshots and turned to see Leyson running away holding a handgun.
He later learned that Morales was shot twice in the head and is now in critical condition at the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.
