Analee Gungob, the barangay captain of Casili in the town, said she knew that she would deliver three babies after undergoing an ultrasound test.
Hinaut unta nga tinuod kay nagpapili ra ba ko pagka-konsehal," said Analee, who is seeking a seat at the town council.
The triplets - Joseph Avel, Jacob Avel and Joshua Avel - are still at the hospital and are in good shape.
Anelee decided to leave her three sons at the hospital until May 14, the election day.
Mayor Gungob paid his triplet-grandsons a visit a day after his daughter had delivered them.
Right now, Analee is preoccupied with her campaign sorties and "pulong-pulongs". She is also helping her father in his bid for reelection.
