A set of triplets for daughter of Consolacion town mayor

The 30-year-old daughter of reelectionist Consolacion town mayor Avelino Gungob, Sr. delivered three baby boys at the Chong Hua Hospital last April 10.

Analee Gungob, the barangay captain of Casili in the town, said she knew that she would deliver three babies after undergoing an ultrasound test.

"Daghan ang nag-ingon nga swerte kuno kining tulo ka anak nga magdungan sa pagkatawo. Hinaut unta nga tinuod kay nagpapili ra ba ko pagka-konsehal," said Analee, who is seeking a seat at the town council.

The triplets - Joseph Avel, Jacob Avel and Joshua Avel - are still at the hospital and are in good shape.

Anelee decided to leave her three sons at the hospital until May 14, the election day. "Dili man gyud kapugngan ang atong mga kalihokan kay election naman. Mao nga dinhi lang una ni sila sa ospital."

Mayor Gungob paid his triplet-grandsons a visit a day after his daughter had delivered them.

"Lipay kaayo siya nga nakita ang iyang mga apo kay nangaliwat kuno kaayo niya," Analee disclosed.

Right now, Analee is preoccupied with her campaign sorties and "pulong-pulongs". She is also helping her father in his bid for reelection.

Despite her hectic campaign schedule, she allots two to three hours a day nursing her triplets at the hospital. - Jose P. Sollano/MEEV
