Based on the investigation conducted by the Liloan police, the victim followed his neighbors last Sunday evening to the Pepito Beach Resort in barangay Jubay where they were had a drink.

But as he was on his way to his neighbors'' cottage at the beach, three men who were drinking nearby called him for a drink. The victim stayed with the men even as his neighbors urged him to join them in the nearby cottage.
