Woman caught repacking drugs

A woman was caught in the act of repacking shabu when the elements of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-7 raided the house of a suspected drug pusher in Zone Sunlot, barangay Kalawisan, Lapu-Lapu City, yesterday morning.
Armed with a search warrant issued by Judge Geraldine Faith Econg of the Regional Trial Court Branch 27 in Lapu-Lapu City, CIDG-7 operatives led by C/Insp. Fermin Armendares, in coordination with elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-7, raided the house of Jose de los Santos.
De los Santos was not around, but policemen reported catching his common-law wife Rosever Baguio in the act of repacking shabu inside their house and arrested her.
Police also seized a medium pack of shabu, a large transparent pack containing suspected shabu residue, 10 small packs of shabu and drug paraphernalia.
Baguio is presently detained at the CIDG-7 stockade pending the filing of charges against her. - Flor Z. Perolina
