According to a report from El Nuevo Bantay Radyo, the mother found her son Jupiter Carizon already bleeding and crying for help. She had just returned home after fetching her other child from school.
Carizon's parents immediately took him to the Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center in Cebu City where doctors quickly did an operation that evening.
There were reports however that Carizon's severed penis was not recovered anymore because a dog already ate it.
