It would not be all sunshine in Cebu and in other provinces until Christmas Day, according to a recent PAGASA news release.
PAGASA weather observer Armando Danag said Cebu would still experience rains brought about by the easterly waves but the amount of rainfall would be less than the earlier period.
Puerto Princesa City, Bacolod City, Cebu, Tacloban, Cagayan de Oro, Davao and Zamboanga City are expected to have cloudy weather with rain showers and thunderstorms until December 26, added the weather bureau.
The Visayas and Mindanao, particularly their eastern portions, would have rainy weather while some provinces would continue to experience cloudy and dreary weather this Christmas weekend.
PAGASA said that northern and central Luzon, and Metro Manila would be experiencing good weather conditions.
"PAGASA is providing the special weather outlook to guide the public in their travel plans, especially since the exodus of holiday vacationers to their home provinces are expected to peak during the Christmas season," PAGASA said in its news release. - Jasmin R. Uy
