October 22, 2006 | 12:00am
Two Mabolo policemen, on "foot patrol", caught a second blatant act of shabu re-packing and arrested a 34-year-old man they saw re-packing the illegal drugs into smaller packs right by the roadside of J. Seno Street at the barangay last Friday dawn.
The foot-patrol policemen, SPO1 Ricardo Escobido and PO1 Mario Agda, were the same duo that seized two packs of shabu from a man they caught re-packing shabu right at the stairs outside his house at the barangay last week.
This time the suspect, Arnel Denolan also of Mabolo, was caught on the street. Upon seeing the policemen, he sprinted to escape but the policemen gave chase and caught him a few meters away.
The police duo frisked Denolan and found from him two more packets of shabu and a .38 caliber homemade revolver loaded with four live bullets and an empty shell.
