Power outage to hit parts of A.S. Fortuna

Power interruptions will hit several parts of Metro Cebu on Saturday due to upgrading and maintenance activities of the Visayan Electric Company.

From 12 a.m. to 8 a.m., VECO will replace 12 rotten poles and transfer all attachments to the new poles in Banilad that will cause brownouts in several areas along A.S. Fortuna St., (from Foodland to Centro Fortuna Bldg.) including Ford's Inn, China Bank, Philippine Countryside Bank, Seawalk Trading, Adoration of Divine Peace, Metro Bottled Water Corp., Citra Mina Seafood Corp. and Allied Bank.

Also to be affected are Kagura Japanese Restaurant, AA's Grill, Suico Gabuya Bldg., Cebu Overseas Hardware, Paulton Road, Baptist Theological College, Carlos Go Bldg., Pen Bank, Bercede Compound, Great Dimsum Choice, Floremer Subdivision, Globe Telecom, GMCR Inc., Yokohama Express Marketing, BP Solutions, Isla Sinugba Restaurant, Manuel Lim & Sons Bldg., and Cebu Micro Engineering.
