In its continued goal of helping Filipinos find jobs abroad, the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration in Central Visayas will conduct the 4th Employment Permit System-Korean Language Test on October 29 which will be simultaneously done in Cebu, Manila and Davao.
POEA is, however, still finalizing the specific venues for the said examination in the key cities mentioned.
Evelia Durato, director of the POEA Regional Center for the Visayas, said that only the offices of POEA in Cebu, Manila and Davao are tasked to facilitate the examination.
Registration of applicants will officially start tomorrow, October 4, Wednesday, and will end on October 13. Registrants will be entertained between 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Durato also said that those who are planning to take the test must first pre-register at the POEA Regional Center for the Visayas located at the mezzanine floor, LDM Building, M.J.Cuenco Avenue, Cebu City; or at the POEA Regional Center for Mindanao located at the 2nd floor, AMYA II Bldg., Quimpo Blvd. corner Tulip Drive, Ecoland, Davao City; or at the POEA Main Office, located at the ground floor, BFO Bldg., EDSA corner Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong City.
In a press statement, the POEA Regional Center for the Visayas warned that registration of applicants for the Korean Language Test not handled by any of the abovementioned designated POEA offices is unauthorized and therefore deemed illegal.
