The PNP Aviation group already sent a report to the Optical Media Board about the latest apprehension last Saturday.
The two boxes were declared as fashion accessories but when it was inspected, it turned out to be pirated VCDs and DVDs.
The owner of the shipment was identified as Mark Suerte of Sucat, Parañaque City, Metro Manila, and it was to be delivered to Allan Suerte, a resident of Colon, Cebu City.
Meanwhile, the Cebu Anti-Indecency Board yesterday expressed concerns about the flooding of pirated pornographic VCDs and DVDs involving minors.
"Alarming na gyud. Mao nay nakasagmuyo sa kampanya aning mga pirated VCDs ug DVDs apil na sa palusot kaning mga porno naglambigit og mga minors," CAIB chairman Rene Bullecer said.
Bullecer said he wrote OMB chairman Edu Manzano a letter asking that CAIB be deputized to apprehend pornographic VCDs and DVDs but Manzano turned him down. - Ramil V. Ayuman
