Cop falls in citizen's arrest effected by inlaws

A policeman assigned to the regional police office was apprehended through citizen's arrest by his brother-in-law and mother-in-law after making trouble inside their house at sitio Kalinao, barangay Luz, last Friday evening.
PO1 Deonisio Anticristo, 36, assigned at PRO-7 office was brought to the Mabolo police station by his brother-in-law Roberto Baguio, 34.
Baguio said Anticristo was drunk when he arrived home last Friday afternoon and pointed his gun at him and punched him for no apparent reason.
Baguio said with his mother's help he was able to disarm Anticristo of his .38 cal. revolver and bring him to the police station. Anticristo later asked forgiveness from the two who decided not to file charges against him.
Mabolo police investigators said they released PO1 Anticristo but will wait for the result of a separate investigation conducted by the Cebu City Police Internal Affairs Office. - Jose P. Sollano
