Married man killed by girlfriend's brod

A man who reportedly disapproved of his sister's relationship with a married man ended up shooting the latter dead in Tuburan last Tuesday evening.

Felimino Villafranca, 29, single and a resident of Purok II, barangay Poblacion, shot to death Fairtext Brigoli, 29, a welder and a resident of Purok VII, Poblacion.

Initial investigation revealed that Brigoli was drinking with his friends at the Seaview Videoke House in Purok IV, Poblacion when, without any provocation, Villafranca pulled out a gun and shot Brigoli, hitting him in the back.

The victim was rushed to the Tuburan District Hospital, but the attending physician declared him dead on arrival.

After the incident, Villafranca surrendered to the Tuburan Police station.

PO3 Raul Jamero said that the suspect harbored a grudge against the victim because of the latter's relationship with his sister.
