The Department of Trade and Industry will showcase indigenous and modern products manufactured in the countryside of Regions V - Bicol, VI - Western Visayas, VII - Central Visayas and VIII - Eastern Visayas in time for Bohol's Sandugo Festival.
DTI information officer Jojie Villamor said that products, which will be showcased for the Regionwide Trade Fair, include bags, furniture, shoes made of indigenous and recycled materials as well as food and health products from said four regions. The trade fair in the province of Bohol is one of the main attractions of the festival.
She also said that the festival will carry the theme, "Tigum sa Bol-anon sa Tibuok Kalibutan", deemed to serve as a marketing tool for the export of these products with the help of some 70 exhibitors that earlier pledged participation to the said trade fair.
