The two suspects, 38-year-old Armando Bacalla and 32-year-old John Lapitan, were outside their houses at the time and were about to flee upon seeing the policemen approaching them.
But Minglanilla policemen, led by Chief Inspector Virgelio Apurado, succeeded in arresting the two suspects who are now detained at the town police detention cell.
Apurado said Regional Trial Court-branch 15 Judge Fortunato de Gracia Jr earlier issued the warrant of arrest against Bacalla while RTC judges Silvestre Maamo Jr and Oliver Peras issued the other warrants against Lapitan. - Delna Lou L. Abellano
