Danao City farmer kills himself

An uncle of a Danao City policewoman reportedly committed suicide after experiencing a nervous breakdown yesterday morning in barangay Poblacion.
Hipolito Perez Remo, a 49-year-old farmer of Bonifacio Extension, Poblacion, was found dead hanging from a mango tree near his house.
Remo's niece, PO1 Edna Almerez, a member of Danao City Police Station, informed her colleagues about the incident.
Based on police records, Remo suffered a nervous breakdown that led him to kill himself.
Although no foul play was reported, police are now conducting further investigation into the incident. - Therese Marie Amodia
