Man dies as motorcycle skids road to avoid dog

A 25-year-old man was declared dead on arrival at the Danao General Hospital after the motorcycle he was riding skidded when trying to avoid hitting a dog that suddenly crossed the national road at Looc, Danao City yesterday.
The fatality was Edu Enriquez Baclohan, single and resident of Maslog, Danao City, who suffered severe injuries as his head crashed unto the road when he fell from the motorcycle driven by 22-year-old Elwood Aguilar Morillo.
Morillo was also taken to the same hospital where he is now confined due to injuries on various parts of his body.
Police investigations showed that Morillo lost control of his motorcycle when a dog suddenly appeared from the roadside and crossed. - Therese Marie Amodia
