The Mandaue City Police Office is stepping up its drive against illegal gambling in the city with an eye on video karera machines.
MCPO officer-in-charge P/Supt. Paquito Belandres said his predecessor was relieved due to the failure of three station chiefs under his command to lick illegal gambling in the area.
Belandres boasts of having seized 40 video karera machines since taking over the vacated position last March 31. The machines would be destroyed next week, he said.
