CIIB arrests 2 drug-pushing suspects in Mambaling raid

Two suspected drug pushers separately fell into the hands of Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Branch operatives in two successive raids in sitio Manggahan, barangay Mambaling early yesterday morning.
Superintendent Paul Labra, CIIB chief, led his men in serving warrants-signed by RTC judge Meinrado Paredes-first against drug pushing suspect Jerome Estrada and then the other suspect Pia Tabalin.
During the first raid, the CIIB operatives found Estrada still sleeping and arrested him, after they found and confiscated 41 small plastic packs of shabu from inside his house.
Then came the raid of the house of Tabalin. The CIIB men arrested her after they found and seized 28 small plastic packs of shabu, also from her house.
Both Estrada and Tabalin are now detained at the Camp Sotero Cabahug stockade pending the filing of charges against them. The seized evidences were immediately brought to the PNP Crime Laboratory-7 for examination. - Flor Z. Perolina
