Talisay jobs fair set on April 28

Talisay City will hold a local jobs fair at the City Hall grounds in barangay Lawaan I on April 28, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., to be participated in by over 20 companies and agencies operating within and outside the city.
There already is an ongoing pre-registration at the City Cooperative Office, which is located right in front of the Mayor's Office, wherein job applicants can immediately shop for jobs on April 28, Friday. However, there will still be a registration on the day itself.
City Coop officer Gale Gabigas said they are expecting to gather more than 800 applicants like the past years. There are already about 500 who have pre-registered.
Cabigas also announced that this event is open not only to Talisay City residents, but to neighboring towns and cities as well. Also, high school graduates and college dropouts may participate, she added.
Applicants are to bring on that day their biodata and pictures.
She said they hope to conduct another jobs fair this September to accommodate other job applicants.
