TF news editor, PDP Digital, DOT- 7 launch Cebu guidebook

PDP Digital Inc., one of the leaders in digital photography and publishing in the country, launched last Friday two new books, Your Guide to Cebu, Philippines and the Japanese version of the Philippine Diving, the Ultimate Guide to Apo Island, Bohol, Cebu and Siquijor.

The Freeman news editor Quennie Bronce is one of the authors of Your Guide to Cebu, Philippines, which features the province of Cebu and highlights some of its towns and municipalities, their history, the people, and most especially the different tourist spots. The guidebook also features different interests like golf, diving, art galleries, museums and shopping centers.

Your Guide to Cebu, Philippines is co-published and highly endorsed by the Department of Tourism and will be available in all its offices worldwide.

The book Philippine Diving, the Ultimate Guide to Apo Island, Bohol, Cebu and Siquijor by Ronald van de Vooren, which was released in 2003, meanwhile, features the different dive sites in the Visayas, specifically the sites in Apo Island, Bohol, Cebu and Siquijor. The new Japanese version was translated by Rena Sugiyama.

Tourism Assistant Secretary Cynthia Carreon graced the launching of the two books on behalf of Tourism Secretary Joseph "Ace" Durano and expressed her appreciation on the initiatives of PDP Digital to promote the tourism industry of the country.

DOT-7 regional director Dawnie Roa also thanked PDP Digital's CEO Daniel Carpentier for his contribution to the booming tourism in Central Visayas.
