CELLA to help in waste info drive

Vice Governor Gregorio Sanchez, Jr. and members of the provincial board agreed Monday to share the work in informing town officials about the importance of protecting the environment and the implementation of the Solid Waste Management Act with members of the Cebu Lady Lawyers Association.

CELLA president Cecilia Adlawan said that CELLA actively participates in different activities in Cebu City after being accredited by the city council as a non-government organization. She said her group has decided to include towns.

Aside from free legal services, Adlawan said CELLA also assists the government in protecting the environment. - Jose P. Sollano
