Amarillo said that Central Visayas will be safe from the threat of Agaton as it is seen already going far from the province.
Agaton's center was noted at 180 kilometers east of Guiuan, Eastern Samar, with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph. It was moving west-northwest at 11 kph.

On Thursday morning, Agaton is expected to be at 30 kilometers south of San Jose in Mindoro Occidental.
