The treasurer of barangay Jaclupan in Talisay City accused barangay captain Placido Labajo of abusing his authority when he sought her termination from service without due process.
Jaclupan treasurer Elsa Billones, 46, reported to the police last Monday afternoon that Labajo also told her "mangamatay gyud ta ani rong adlawa" during a heated argument inside the barangay hall.
The incident happened inside the barangay hall around 10 a.m. on September 15 when Labajo and Billones argued over the turnover of barangay records when he said her services were no longer needed.
Billones insisted that she would not turn over all records of the barangay since there was no order from the Department of the Interior and Local Government terminating her. - Garry B. Lao
