Mama Mary's recent Cebu home visit

On the happy occasion of Mama Mary's birthday, you may be interested to know that she continues to visit homes willing to welcome her.

Last September 2, for example, our Lady of Fatima visited the home of Morris and Tetet Acriche and their children, Nikki, MM, and MJ.

Her visit came unexpectedly as they did not think they would have the blessing of being chosen to host her visit. About 2 years back, in a friend's place also visited by Mama Mary of Fatima, Morris and Tetet wrote their names and placed this in a box along with others who indicated their desire to have her visit their homes. When they did so, Morris and Tetet did not even consider their being chosen for a future visit from her.

Imagine, therefore, their joy when they received a call informing them that Mama Mary of Fatima would visit their home on September 2, stay there for 3 hours, and move on to another home that night!

With friends, neighbors, and relatives, Mama Mary's entrance and home visit was heralded by horn blowing, by prayers (especially the rosary), and by songs sang in her honor!

Guests saw different expressions coming out of Mama Mary's statue during her visit. Many saw her radiantly smiling as she entered the home and took her place of honor in the altar bedecked with plants and flowers. Some saw her serious side, a sad, teary-eyed expression as well. According to Brother Bong of The Herald of The Gospel, the group that facilitates her visit, Sister Lucia confirmed that this statue that was brought to the Acriche home was an exact replica of the face of Mama Mary whom she was blessed to meet, on several occasions.

As if her visit was not enough, Mama Mary seemed to have left the Acriche family her own version of appreciation for being warmly welcomed to their home. As their family prayed the rosary, they noticed the sweet smell of roses all around them! Weren't roses often Mama Mary's way of making her presence known in her past and present apparitions in various parts of the world?
