Trisikad driver shot defending "his" frat
August 28, 2005 | 12:00am
A casual discussion on which was the better fraternity led to the shooting of one trisikad driver on V. Aranas Street in barangay Duljo-Fatima Friday afternoon.
Homicide policemen said two drivers were waiting for passengers at 5pm that day while discussing the news about fraternities.
Neither of them belonged to any fraternity but the one known only as "Allan" favored Akrho while the other, 24-year-old Larry Disalogo, praised Tau Gamma.
With neither of them willing to yield to the other, the discussion became a heated exchange of words that caused Allan to pull out a .38-caliber revolver and shot Disalogo in the right foot.
Allan quickly escaped shortly before Disalogo's father arrived at the scene to take his son to the Cebu City Medical Center. The police are now investigating further the incident. - Ryan P. Borinaga
