Power interruption today

The Visayan Electric Company Inc. is implementing a new schedule of power interruptions for this weekend. Due to unavoidable circumstances, the Saturday schedule 5 has been moved to Sunday (today. The following is the new schedule:

August 21 - Sunday. Lateral portion of EM15 & EM16 Feeder from Ermita Substation from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The purpose of this is the upgrading of primary line and transformers from 4.16kv to 23kv and transfer to CLB312 feeder.

The affected areas are the portions of Colon St. (from corner Leon Kilat St. up to Panganiban St.); C. Padilla St. (from corner Panganiban St. up to T. Abella St.); Tres de Abril St. (from corner C. Padilla St. up to Lakandula St.); Lakandula St.; Climaco St. (from corner C. Padilla up to Dimasalang St.); Dimasalang St.; B. Aranas St. (from corner Tres de Abril up to T. Abella St.).

Business establishments that would be affected are Progress Commercial Bldg., and its warehouse, Yasco Motors, CS Bldg., Bensan Enterprises, Katipunan Lumber, Win Marketing, Top Grain Marketing, San Nicolas Parish Church, Cebu Eastern College, Cebu Ellgee Traders, YSB Marketing, Capitol Milling Company, Lexson Enterprises, Forever Tinsmith, B.F.
