A policeman and an "asset" were taken to hospital Friday morning when their patrol car, while allegedly on a chase at the North Reclamation Area, went over a sandy spot sending it skidding before turning over several times.
Hurt were PO1 Nathaniel Lumacad and barangay intelligence network asset Romulo Diano Jr., according to a spot report forwarded by the traffic division to the city police operations section.
Investigation shows that around 9 a.m. that day, the patrol car noticed a motorcycle going full speed and immediately chased it.
With sirens shreaking, the patrol car went after the motorcycle but somewhere in Talisay City the driver lost control of his car. It turned over many times before hitting a house and a parked trisikad.
