Body found near well

A man was found dead beside a deep well in sitio Matumbo, barangay Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City yesterday morning with stab wounds on his chest and back.
Nenito Ravelo, 22, of barangay Sta. Rosa in Olango Island was last seen drinking with friends at a nearby store.sustained, SPO2 Rolito Jumao-as said.
As alleged, Jumao-as allegedly created trouble near his brother's house in barangay Pusok, damaging a door of his brother's house. He reportedly left the place after the incident. At around 5 a.m. yesterday, Ravelo was found.

Residents of sitio Fatima in barangay Jubay, Liloan town are complaining about the operation of video karaoke machines without permits their place.
A petition signed by 47 residents furnished Mayor Maria Anne Sevilla, and to The FREEMAN, states that the proliferation of these video karaoke machines affect students, laborers, office workers, and other residents in the area.
Videokes at beach resorts have no permits thus violating a town ordinance, it said.
Sevilla was not available for comment, but Liloan deputy police chief Eleazar Salomon said they are aware of the petition and are just waiting for Sevilla's order. - Jose P. Sollano
