Two men and three women lost their cellular phones to four armed men who were with them on the same jeepney bound for the North Reclamation Area yesterday morning.
Only Angelie Espinoza, Nona Barola, Rosavie Rubio, and Elmer Lastimosa reported the incident to the Waterfront police station yesterday.
The victims said they took the same jeepney from the downtown area as the four men did. Somewhere in barangay Tejero, the men declared a holdup, taking their belongings including their cellphones.
Not one of the armed men was in the Rogues Gallery.
Earlier, at around 6 a.m., two men robbed a woman of her cellphone worth P13,000 and P500 in barangay Mambaling on the way to Colon Street. Reggie Dapan described the two men as decent-looking mestizos and armed with a gun. - Ryan P. Borinaga
