Capitol workers to get P1,000 educational help

Cebu Provincial Capitol employees will be receiving their P1,000 educational augmentation soon as acting Governor Gregorio Sanchez is set to approve a resolution on the educational assistance pursuant to a budget memorandum allowed by President Arroyo.

Capitol employees will also soon be receiving the long delayed P3,000 love bonus with the approval of the first supplemental budget.

Approval of ordinances and resolutions is one of the functions allowed to Sanchez in an acting capacity, except the power to appoint and terminate employees while Governor Gwendolyn Garcia is in the Netherlands together with Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña.
