- Ryan P. Borinaga -
Thirty non-commissioned officers from Central Visayas are now attending the PNP Values and Leadership training in barangay Gaas, Balamban town.

The training, which started the other day would last for a month.

Senior Supt. Ronald Roderos, regional deputy for operations said that instructors of the training are coming from the religious sector. Subjects to be taken up would be on moral recovery, moral values, and leadership, among others.

He said the training aims to make the police project a better image and hopes that graduates would be able to influence others to be better persons.

The course is a quarterly program of the PNP that is offered through the PNP Values and Leadership Satellite Schools which was started during the stint of then PNP Chief Edgardo Aglipay. General Samson R. Tucay heads the school in Subic.

In Gaas, Balamban, participants are confined in a building that is maintained by the Regional Mobile Group. The training director for this course is Supt. Manuel Gurtiza who is deputy chief of RMG.
