Man allegedly shoots self dead

A 20- year-old man was found dead Tuesday dawn at Saavedra, Moalboal, Cebu with a gunshot wound on the head.

The victim was identified as Randy Gimeno Timtim, single and a resident of the place. Police said Timtim was drinking with friends in the house of one Jennifer Largosa Indino at 8 p.m. on June 20.

Two hours later, Timtim left the group and went to a room upstairs to retrieve a gun from under a bed. He began playing with it while Indino allegedly cautioned him for the reason that there were two children in the house.

Timtim left the house. Shortly after, Indino heard a gun fired. She went out to investigate only to find Timtim dead and still holding the gun.

Police found an empty cal. 5.56 shell which was fired from the homemade gun.
