“World of Wellness” in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines — Close to 800 Watsons Card members took part in the activities and highlights of Watsons Philippines’ first “World of Wellness” event in Cebu.

Held on May 4 at the Cebu Trade Hall of SM City Cebu, the Watsons Card member-exclusive gathering was mainlined by a health symposium with four healthcare experts talking about the top health concerns that have recently been affecting Filipinos from all walks of life.

Leading the roster of speakers were doctors Kevin Bautista, Marissa Garcia, Celine Aquino and Marivic Vestal. The doctors discussed the dangers of the flu, the many factors that lead to a heart attack and the many complications and risks associated with diabetes. A talk on vaccination and vaccines in general was also featured.

Exhibits and product demonstrations by Watsons’ partner brands were also part of the one-day event. These were matched with on-site special deals on different products – ranging from health and beauty aids, food supplements and more.

The “World of Wellness” in Cebu was the second event of its kind organized by Watsons Philippines. It took after the first “World of Wellness” event held in Metro Manila early this year, and is part of Watsons’ continuing efforts to help improve the lives of Filipinos by imparting valuable information on health and wellness.
