QI 4TH Regional Meeting

Montebello Villa Hotel was the venue of the three-day regional meeting of Quota International Region 19, hosted by Quota International Mandaue last April 19.

On opening day, there was the welcome dinner and also opening ceremony. Guest of honor was Mandaue City Mayor Luis Gabriel Quisumbing, who welcomed all delegates as “Gateway to Mandaue City” was presented to Quota International.

Theme of the evening`s affair was floral-inspired attire, and all delegates were in lovely colorful floral outfits. The next day was as usual free day for all Quotarians. After business discussion were finished, it was shopping spree for one and all.

The last day of the meeting, after the whole day session, was the Regional Director`s Grand Ball and Fellowship Night. Theme of the affair was “Let`s Go Latina,” where the delegates were so excited to wear their colorful Latina costumes. The evening`s program had the Regional Meeting Awards… biggest delegation awards, with Nerissa Soon Ruiz in charge; and business session attendance awards, followed by the valedictory address by RD Marilyn Navales. Installation of new regional director Marilyn Navales was done by international president Marie Dobson Dunlop.

After all the fun and laughter, the camaraderie and warmth fellowship, closing remarks was delivered by former congresswoman and QI Mandaue charter president Nerissa Soon Ruiz.
