Especially because Executive Chef Linda Hou and Executive Sous Chef Tristan Encarnacion are real masters in their field.
Executive Chef Linda Hou
With over 21 years’ experience working in a number of China’s best restaurants and global restaurant chains, Chef Linda Hou stands as force to reckon in the metro’s culinary arts scene.
A master of French Cuisine, the chef progressively worked her way up the ranks as commis, chef de partie, sous chef, chef de cuisine and executive chef for establishments like the Crowne Plaza Fuxhou Riverside in China, the Wanda Group in China and the Sens & Bund in Shanghai, to name a few.
Formerly the executive chef of Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino in 2007, Chef Hou comes back to Cebu after 10 years – bringing her masterful take in infusing flavors and tangs in an eclectic range of culinary delights.
Executive Sous Chef Tristan Encarnacion
Backed by his 16 years’ experience in the culinary arts field, Chef Tristan Encarnacion has gone beyond crafting scrumptious delights, having served as culinary consultant for various firms and hosting various local TV shows – GMA’s “Unang Hirit,” ABC 5’s “Venta” and TV5’s “Healing Galing,” to name a few.
Taking on the mantle of Waterfront’s Executive Sous Chef with an add-on “celebrity chef” title, Chef Encarnacion brings his take on Filipino cuisine to the Waterfront table spread – guided by an understanding of what makes Filipino cuisine distinct; underscored by a predilection to craft specials that are intrinsically familiar and novel in many ways.
