The Song of Bernadette

CEBU, Philippines - Song of Bernadette, a musical put together by multi-awarded Cebuano artists Niño James Bañares, Jude Gitamondoc and Elvis Somosot, delights the theater audience at the SM Seaside City Cebu’s Centerstage on February 17, 18 and 19. 

The show follows the inspiring life of Bernadette Soubirous, a poor peasant girl to whom the Blessed Mother appeared, and the miracles attributed to drinking and bathing in the waters of a spring at the apparition site near Lourdes, France.  Bernadette was elevated to sainthood in 1933.

The show celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Punta Princesa, Cebu City, now an Archdiocesan Shrine.  Tickets are available at the parish office.  Call 261-5393 or call or send an SMS to 0908-8880136 or 0923-5197923 for reservations. (FREEMAN)
