Ballet Philippines’ “Mga Sayaw ng Bayan Ko” in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines - In celebration of the Philippine Independence Day, Ballet Philippines is set to perform in SM Seaside City Cebu on Saturday, June 11. This world-class performance highlights Filipino folklore and the colorful tapestry of the rich and diverse cultural heritage of the country.

The Ballet Philippines is the country’s flagship professional classical and contemporary dance company with a treasure trove of almost 500 choreographic works. The group’s wide ranging, eclectic repertory is unparalleled in Asia.

The classical dance group is led by its artistic director, Paul Alexander Morales, and its president, Margie Moran Floirendo, in ursuing its vision of nurturing the best Filipino dance artists through its year-long professional and developmental programs.
