Two Big Events Last December

Happy Fiesta everyone! For those who come from other parts of the globe, welcome to the Queen City of the South as we celebrate the feast of our beloved Señor Santo Niño - Kanatong tanan kini!

Last month two big events took place at Ayala Center Cebu. Oh yes, there was the Symphony of Lights where the ceremonial switching took place at Ayala's spacious grounds. This was the first time that such a spectacular event had happened in Cebu. Guests of honor during the switching of the lights were Mariquita S. Yeung, Ayala Center GM Bong Dy, CHI President Jun Bisnar, Fashion Council President Philip Rodriguez, Amparito Lhuillier, Marriott Hotel GM Patrick Carroll, Cebu City Tourism Chair Tetta Baad, CCCI President Tess Chan, Miss Cebu 2015 Wynonah Buot, Cebu's celebrated furniture designer Vito Selma and Ayala Malls Head for VisMin Operations Clavel Tongco. The show would run until January 31, 2016.

The second event was the lighting of the giant Christmas tree designed and created by Vito Selma. Guests of honor during the opening were Vito Selma, Clavel Tongco, Teresin Mendezona, CHI President Jun Bisnar, GM Bong Dy and Philip Rodriguez. Filling the air with Cebuano artistry, Ayala Center Cebu's Traditional Christmas featured holiday décor in the signature geometry-inspired creation of Vito Selma.
