A Burst of Colors

CEBU, Philippines – The city - and the world too, of course - is presently immersed in the holiday celebrations. In a little over a week from now, all these revelries will subside. Things are to go back to normal.

But it won't be so in Cebu. It won't be that long before the one beat that all Cebuanos know of will begin to reverberate. And then, street parties pop up everywhere, the town gets painted with all kinds of colors, music blasts from one corner to the next. Everyone knows it by one name - Sinulog!

In time for the biggest fiesta of the Philippines, Islands Souvenirs ups festival fever with Cut and Style 2016. Now on its fourth year, it is the brand's biggest Sinulog campaign featuring special edition Sinulog t-shirt designs that can be personalized and customized. More accessories like flash tattoos, festival dusts, whistles, hair chalks, headdresses, iron-on stickers for shirts, and cap embellishments will be available for everyone.

Cut and Style will be available in SM City Cebu Boutique and Atrium, Ayala Center Cebu, Robinsons in Fuente, SM Seaside City, and all Islands Souvenirs stand-alone boutiques beginning January 3, 2016. Special Styling Center and Make-Over Zones will be set up in SM Seaside City and Ayala Center Cebu Activity Center starting January 8. Cut and Style 2016 rocks the playful and fun aesthetic of pop art, paying homage to positivity and good vibes for the year that's just beginning.

A grand fashion show will cap the campaign, at The Northwing Atrium, SM City Cebu on January 15, featuring social advocates, the cutest kids, Miss Cebu winners, and social media influencers. Cary Santiago's original creations were featured in Cut and Style 2015. This year the spotlight is on fashion designer and musician Kate Torralba, who will also create original pieces for the runway. From a seasoned master couturier to an edgy and modern designer, Islands Souvenirs truly continues to bring fashion forward.

Cut and Style 2016 is made extra special since, for the first time, live music performances are part of the even, with "The Voice - Season 2" host Yeng Constantino and the country's biggest dance group G-Force, headed by "Your Face Sounds Familiar" coach and "Dance Kids" judge Teacher Georcelle.
