A fashion party

CEBU, Philippines - A fashion presentation highlighted a birthday celebration on September 29. The birthday bash of Landtraders CEO Michele Yu also displayed creations by Cebuano fashion designers Hanz Coquilla and Ronald Enrico.

Held at the roof deck of San Marino Residences – the flagship development of Landtraders World Properties – the occasion brought the birthday celebrant’s close friends and family together for an evening of gleeful cheer, good food and good music – and, of course, a good show of high-fashion artistry.

The unique event was put together by Janby Earl Yu – Michele’s husband. It was a fitting birthday gift for the youthful CEO, whose personal list of favorite couturiers includes Coquilla and Enrico.

Celebrity Gabby Concepcion was present at the celebration and sang the popular ballad “Maging Sino Ka Man” for the birthday celebrant.

Lace appliqued sheens on flowy cuts of tulle dominated the fashion presentation – hinting of the stylistic propensities of designers Coquilla and Enrico. Sharp tailoring, bold confidence and sensual femininity were observable in the designers’ presented pieces that night, with sheers and livid hues that made for comely and elegant ensembles. (FREEMAN)
