Filipino Fiesta

CEBU, Philippines – It’s Sinulog time – and all roads lead to Cebu City. This biggest fiesta of the Philippines is also time for delectable Filipino cuisine. Celebratory feasts are very much part of the festivities.

Radisson Blu Hotel Cebu joins in the celebrations with a Filipino Fiesta lunch and dinner buffets at Feria, from January 14 to 18. The delightful spreads include sizzling bangus, shrimps in garlic, lechon kawali, baked tahong, Bicol Express, bulalo soup, dinuguan and halu-halo, among many others.

For those with a penchant for charred and roasted flavors, there’s also an outdoor grill buffet of barbecue favorites on January 17 at the hotel’s Pool Bar, consisting of prime cuts of beef, pork, chicken, fish, prawns and seafood with grilled potatoes and vegetables. The buffet package is inclusive of complimentary glass of iced tea, soda or local beer.

Diners enjoy home-grown recipes by Feria’s Storied Chefs: Executive Sous Chef Randy Origenes and Sous Chefs Coke Semblante and Gary Reyes, as Sinulog dancers render a colorful performance at 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
