Mobile App Development Training Course in Cebu

CEBU, Philippines – A mobile app development workshop spearheaded by one of the country's leading wireless service providers took place in Cebu last week.

Held at the UC Banilad Campus from November 17 to 20, the four-day "SWEEPx Mobile Apps Development" training course brought students and faculty members of different Cebu-based schools together to learn about the fundamentals of mobile application development.

With eight teams composed of 3 to 4 members from UC Main, UC Banilad, UC LM and the Don Bosco Technology Center, a set of "basic" mobile gaming, map assistance and lifestyle-oriented apps was developed on the workshop's fourth day.

Spearheaded by Smart Communications Inc., the holding of the "SWEEPx Mobile Apps Development" program in Cebu is the last of the nationwide traveling workshop, following previous legs held in other key cities in the country.
