CEBU, Philippines- Following its first sell-out event in May last year, #HyperCebu returned last week for a Halloween event, with an array of performances from some of the nation's hottest acts.

Halloween Party, on October 24-26, was organized by the JCI Cebu, Inc. and Hyper Volunteers. It featured food markets, a lifestyle bazaar, a bloggers' meet, an indie music fest, and a rave party in one destination. Expectedly it drew foodies, fashionistas, travel lovers, techies and musicians. A real standout was the #HyperHalloween Zombie Run, organized by JCI-Cebu Maharani, with military-like obstacles and a zombie survival arena.

The crowd of almost 4,000 easily slipped into a fist-pumping frenzy with the music of DJ Jennifer Weigel, DJ Drew Sarmiento, Frac Attack, Rovee Fernandez, Team Courageous, and celebrity guest DJ Funk Avy. The #HyperCebu Halloween event celebrated the Cebuano lifestyle - for 36 hours nonstop. (FREEMAN)
