Beware of Internet Feng Shui Apps

Recently, a client brought to my attention the online feng shui applications now found in the internet. These are even more accessible via new cellphones with wi-fi connection. But a closer inspection of these feng shui apps by someone adept in the craft reveals the most uncanny findings.

Why? This kind of social media marketing is not far from the dubious tricks of the trade by fakers who write feng shui books, even indulge in mainstream above- and below-the-line feng shui advertising such as TV guestings, PR spins cum payolas and, yes, billboard ads!

What a way to make a living! Mind you, if pork scammers exist, feng shui scammers have existed for ages since!

A basic concern is finding one's real feng shui element.

A cursory research into at least a dozen applications downloadable from the internet reveals a common pattern of half-baked and even a catch 22 (or bait-loaded ambulance chasing marketing stings) by unknowing but ill-intending feng shui fakers online and in real life.

It takes a master erudite in the trade to explain this issue. In this case, your honors, yours truly humbly submits that these feng shui element determination applications online is a sham for a good 98 percent of the time.

And why so? Having just copied blindly from ancient annals without proper education and training, online feng shui analyses are based on the so-called original bagua trigram formations traditionally used only for external and yin or burial feng shui diagnostics!

A well-meaning, genuine feng shui expert knows too well the latter day or modern pa kua or bagua configuration is the source code of the real feng shui element for each person, in a uniquely precise scientific manner. Whereby the sheng chi, or the direction of one's luck and prosperity for an abundant life is the key to tapping one's excellent life energies or chi here on earth, by applying it in one's home or office or recreational, secondary dwellings!

Thus take this advice to heart. Similar to the case of artists and their artworks, just because a work is published in a book or newspaper doesn't mean that the piece is truly valuable or even authentic. This marketing deception is only for the gullible - are you?

In comparison, just because of an impressive internet application, just like a powerpoint presentation of modern mass media, feng shui element calculators or websites claiming to offer free services (with or without catch 22 intended) fall short of the whole truth.

The authors of these online apps either do not understand the mechanics having just copied the whole idea from somewhere, or truly intended such to confuse the market and bait a mindshare and gullible customers at the end of the day.

All told, a little feng shui knowledge is very dangerous; it can literally maim or kill anyone subjected to its application in gullible blind faith... all simply because it is in the internet.

Feng shui must be approached with judicious discernment and professional guidance. As in medicine, self medication is risky.

Pride, arrogance, miserliness and, most of all, preponderance of greed has no place in the positive science of feng shui! Truly only when a humble student is ready, a real master and the rippling effects of authentic feng shui appears - endlessly and enduringly to echo thru eternity.
