300 Houses for Yolanda Survivors

CEBU, Philippines - On Monday, June 2, at 11 a.m. was the groundbreaking for the construction of 300 housing units for Yolanda survivors in the northern Cebu town of San Remigio by Austrian non-government organization Hilfswerk Austria International (HAI).

HAI is one of Austria's leading organizations for development cooperation and humanitarian aid.  Its guiding principles are "sustainable development and universal Human Rights."  Through its projects and programs, HAI aims to sustainably improve the life and outlook of its program beneficiaries.

Chosen by HAI as partners in the project are the Ramon Aboitiz Foundation, Inc. and the local government of San Remigio, Cebu.
