Linky's Special Birthday

CEBU, Philippines - April 20 was not just a special Easter for us, it was also the birthday of one of the most admirable people I know, Linky Estenzo.  But this day was not just doubly special, it was triple special for Linky as no less than her dear hubby, Inyong Estenzo and son Luigi were the event organizers!  Guests were personally called by Inyong as he wanted to make sure all of Linky's family and closest friends were accounted for.  I was lucky to be one of them and boy did I have the grandest time celebrating it with Linky and the whole group.

Held at their sprawling abode in an exclusive family compound along Hernan Cortes, the main event was held in their newly-built four-storey office building, which Inyong designed in such a way that they had plenty of rooms to host various theme parties. Three bands performed at the rooftop.  The sumptuous buffet by Creative Cuisine and Nonki plus the open bar just couldn't let the guests leave right away!

"Pilipinas Got Talent" Grand finalist Jem Cubil was the Estenzos' dear friends Mon and Karla Fernandez's special surprise for Linky. Jem's rendition of Michael Buble's favorites wowed the crowd including Linky and Inyong.  It truly was one unique surprise, I must say!
