CEBU, Philippines - American pro-golfer Greg Norman is known for adventure and his appetite for taking risks. In fact, he has earned the moniker as the Great White Shark. He embraces and embodies this nickname, not only on the golf course but also in business, especially in the wine industry.

As a strong believer of the role of wine in an active and easy-going lifestyle, the Greg Norman Estates collection was born and is being introduced in Cebu by Bibendum Wines. The Greg Norman fine wines are produced in the USA, Australia and Argentina.

After its 1996 launch, Greg Norman Estates went on to make waves in the wine industry, with over 33 wines scoring over 88 points and13 wines rated 90 points and above, by esteemed publications Wine Spectator and Wine Enthusiast. The collection also garnered three Wine Spectator “Top 100 Wines in the World” recognitions and, lastly, the Greg Norman Estates’ 1998 Reserve Shiraz was recognized as No. 8 in the Wines of the World hall of fame.

The 2010 Greg Norman Estates Limestone Coast Shiraz Cabernet was just recently named “Wine of the Week” by Wine Spectator magazine, as well as the “Best Buy of the Week.” Wine Spectator editor Harvey Steiman rated the wine 90 points, commenting: “Fresh and vibrant, this lively style shows expressive density to the black cherry and raspberry fruit. Peppery spice notes bolster the lingering finish.”
