New Ambassadors Visit Cebu

The newly appointed Philippine Ambassador and Officials of the Department of Foreign Affairs who came to Cebu for a fieldtrip and workshop were greeted by former Ambassador Frank L. Benedicto in a get-together affair in one of the uptown restaurants here right after their arrival.

The ever-hospitable Ambassador Benedicto briefed the visiting Ambassadors on the locations of Cebu City and its people, and especially the tourist spots here in Cebu which could actually boost the economy if the Ambassadors will help promote Cebu in the respective places where they will be assigned.

The newly appointed Ambassadors promised Ambassador Benedicto that they will help the rehabilitation efforts of the government to rebuild the typhoon-stricken provinces in the North by asking assistance from the governments of the nations where they will serve as Ambassadors.
